Structural glass systems

Six systems. Every one of them structural glass.

Glass roofs, glass walls, walk-on glass floors, glass extensions, structural façades and frameless glazed windows. Six ranges, one discipline: assemblies where the glass carries the load, engineered and installed as a single package.

And the elements that complete the same opening

Very few projects are a single range. Alongside the eleven above we deliver the specialist work that finishes the envelope and the interior.

Curved & faceted glass

Shaped glazing for bays, cylindrical corners and non-rectilinear openings.

Switchable privacy glass

Electrically controlled privacy for screens, bathrooms and meeting rooms.

Glass links & bridges

Glazed circulation between buildings, formed from structural glass walls and roofs.

Fire-rated structural glass

Tested assemblies for compartmentation, screens and fire-rated walk-on floors.

Internal glazing

Frameless partitions, acoustic screens and internal glass walls.

Glass repair & replacement

Replacement of damaged panes and assemblies, by the teams who installed them.

How a project runs

The same five stages, every time

Whether it is a single rooflight or a fully glazed elevation, the route is the same — and you know where you are on it.

01

Consultation and site review

We visit, listen to the brief and test it against the building. You get an honest view of what is achievable, an indicative cost range and a realistic programme before you commit.

02

Design and engineering

Structural calculations, glass build-ups, fixing details, interfaces and weathering are resolved and issued. This is where a structural glass project is won or lost.

03

Manufacture by our specialist partners

Your glass and your systems are produced by our manufacturing partners — Vitrocsa, Schüco, Solarlux, Velfac and specialist laminated-glass producers — to our drawings and our specification, with the certification we require.

04

Installation by our own teams

Our installers handle, set and seal the glass. Cranage, access, permits and protection are planned with the site team beforehand, not improvised on the day.

05

Aftercare and documentation

Handover includes guarantees, care instructions and the product records for the project file, with aftercare and glass repair available afterwards.
